Seltmann Weiden Hotel Porcelain: The Composition That Makes the Difference

Every piece in the Coup line is made with Hotel porcelain patented by Seltmann Weiden: 50% kaolin (of which 25% high-strength alumina), 25% quartz and 25% feldspar. The result is exceptionally hard, lightweight and translucent porcelain, with brilliant whiteness that enhances every table presentation.

Double High-Temperature Firing for Extra-Hard Glaze

The production process involves a first firing at 1,000°C and a second enamelled firing at approximately 1,450°C. This technique gives the glaze exceptional hardness: resistant to knife and cutlery scratches, impermeable, hygienic and reliable even after thousands of professional dishwasher cycles.
