- Wash with warm water and neutral soap, rinse and dry thoroughly.
During Cooking
- Always use oven gloves when handling the hot cocotte.
- Use exclusively Le Creuset silicone, wood or heat-resistant plastic utensils. DO NOT use metal knives or utensils to avoid scratching the enamelled surface.
- Match the cocotte to the stovetop ring of the appropriate size for uniform heat distribution (particularly important on induction hobs).
